manchestereveningnews.co.ukA gang that flooded the streets of a city centre with cocaine and crack cocaine have been jailed for a combined total of more than 29 years.
The gang's leaders, Daniel Meredith, 36, and Ryan Jones, 31, operated a phone through which they arranged the sale of drugs, before directing their street dealers to conduct drops, police said.
A six-month police investigation culminated in raids on a number of addresses and a large quantity of cocaine was discovered, together with mobile phones, drugs paraphernalia and cash.

Meredith, of Stratford Close, Chester, and Jones, of Auckland Road, Chester, were at the head of the operation that sent bulk messages to multiple numbers, to advertise their wares.
