Drug dealer broke into ex's home and stole packet of chicken wings

A dealer part of a Class A drugs ring known as the 'Eggy Line' broke into his ex's home, soaked her clothes in water and stole a packet of chicken wings.John Jones was caught selling heroin and crack cocaine to an undercover police officer and was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court today after pleading guilty to an array of offences.The 32-year-old was caught selling drugs as part of a Merseyside Police operation into a Class A drugs ring known as the 'Eggy Line', which was active in Birkenhead in 2021.

He was identified after selling drugs in Birkenhead Town Centre on June 29, 2021, the Liverpool Echo reports.Prosecutor Paul Blasbery told the court: "As part of an operation in the Wirral area, numerous purchases of Class A drugs were made by undercover officers.

On the 29th July, an undercover officer was on duty in Birkenhead town centre."After a period of time, he was shown the way to [the defendant], on that day the defendant provided to the officer two packets of cocaine of 100% purity at 0.19g, and two packets of heroin at 42% purity."Jones was again arrested when he was caught selling heroin and crack cocaine on August 9.He was involved in three other incidents while on bail, including a fight with his neighbour on June 1 of this year.

Mr Blasbery said Jones entered the other man's man with two knives but left.Jones then broke into his ex's home on June 16 and cut holes in her coat, left her clothing soaked in water and scattered around the bathroom and stole random low value items.
