Sign up to the weekly West Lothian Courier newsletter for the latest West Lothian news and sport.Road users have complained that West Lothian Council’s social distancing measures at bus stops are causing congestion.The renovated bus stops are part of the council’s £600,000 Spaces for People scheme in conjunction with the Scottish Government.Bus stops have been amended to provide more space for passengers, but The Courier reported previously that this has reduced access to buses for pram and wheelchair users.Drivers are now complaining that buses stopping for longer on the road is causing traffic to back up in busy roads at Bathgate, Linlithgow and Whitburn.
