A man has been arrested after a bus crash beside Piccadilly Gardens that left a dozen people injured, with one woman currently fighting for her life in hospital.
A single-decker bus mounted the kerb and smashed into the glass front of the T4 bubble tea store at Piccadilly bus station on Monday afternoon (October 16).
The major incident sparked a huge emergency services response, as police blocked off the area and white tents were erected within the cordon as a number of casualties were treated at the scene. The force said one woman was rushed to hospital to be treated from the scene and has suffered life-threatening injuries in the horror.
