A suspected drunk driver was arrested after he smashed into two cars and fled the scene – leaving his two children trapped in the back seat.
Police tweeted pictures of the wrecked car after it ploughed into two parked vehicles in the early hours of Monday. Crews dashed to Brickfield Road in Worcester and arrested the driver who had run away from the scene.
Shockingly, two children and another adult were still in the car and were treated by paramedics. The driver, a man in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, failing to stop after a crash and child neglect offences.
