It has now been confirmed that the late Dr Michael Mosley chose to lie down on a rock before his death, which was of natural causes, during his climb in the Greek island of Symi.

In a seeming bid to follow NHS advice, the way that the 67-year-old diet guru's body was found suggests that he chose to lie down with his legs raised on a rock - the advice given by doctors to prevent fainting - rather than falling over.

Michael had a lengthy walk and was found in a shaded spot by the wall, with his rucksack off. After mysteriously vanishing from the island, his body was discovered on Sunday in a rocky area near Agia Marina beach, following his reported disappearance on Wednesday.

Michael was just a 90-second-walk Rhodes coroner Despina Nethena is said to have found that the condition of the body has made it impossible to determine a cause of death so far - due to extreme heat speeding up the decomposition of the body.
