Donald Trump will sit down with Fox News‘ Bret Baier for a Super Bowl pre-game interview on Sunday. It has become a tradition for presidents to do an interview with the game’s host network, although Joe Biden skipped last year’s sit down when CBS had the rights.
Biden also declined an interview in 2023, when Fox News had the rights. When he was president in his first term, Trump declined to do an interview with NBC News in 2018.
Trump as interviewed by then-Fox News host Bill O’Reilly in 2017, CBS News Margaret Brennan in 2019 and Fox News’ Sean Hannity in 2020.
The pre-taped interview will take place at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, with portions airing on Special Report with Bret Baier on Feb.
