Furious residents left a 'don't park here' on a school-run mum's car after she "blocked" residents from using parking spaces. The anonymous writer complained that the mum-of-two was stopping locals from parking on their road and suggested that she find somewhere else to park.
The note read: "Could you please stop parking here. Your (sic) preventing 3 other residents from parking. Thanks".Woman said the road has no parking restrictions and said she felt "annoyed and upset" for being told to stay off a public highway.
In response, some in the Rhuddlan area of Denbighshire where the note was left sympathised with residents who were unable to find a parking space in their local community but others said the mum had every right to park there.
North Wales Live reports that the woman's husband explained that she would sometimes park in a street further away from their children's school, Ysgol Y Castell, whenever she would drop or pick them up, in order to ease pressure on Hylas Lane As a former resident of the area, she noted that she was aware that the narrow road which runs past the school was often packed with cars at the start and end of the school day.The family, who asked for anonymity, said they were "really disappointed" to receive the note as the car was parked legally and wasn’t causing an obstruction. "How can anyone moan about this after buying a house close to a school?" said the husband. "Same people who moan about noise after buying a house next to a pub."After sharing a photo of the note on social media, many shared their opinions about the matter.
