Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Keshet International has closed a raft of major deals on “Hitler’s Treasure Hunters,” a six-part unscripted series produced by Perpetual Entertainment which forms part of Keshet International’s showcase at the London TV Screenings on Feb.
26. The docuseries was picked up by Hearst Networks EMEA in a pan-regional deal comprising Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, and sub-Saharan Africa; as well as by Warner Bros.
Discovery in Spain and Andorra, and finally Polsat which bought free TV second window rights for Poland. Keshet International is in talks with other broadcast partners. “Hitler’s Treasure Hunters” will be delivered to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Hitler’s death and the end of World War II this year.
The docuseries tells the stories of the many treasures and religious relics sought out by the Nazi SS, including the Holy Grail and Thor’s hammer, in an effort to win Germany the war and prove Aryan supremacy.
