Annika Pham Paris-based About Premium Content (APC) has acquired international rights to the Norwegian drama “Requiem for Selina,” due to bow at Lille’s Series Mania International Panorama competition program March 24.
A hot property on the pre-sales market, the youth-oriented TV show from “Skam” commissioner NRK has already secured major distribution deals with AMC Networks International Southern Europe for Spain and Portugal, DR for Denmark, Yle for Finland and RÚV for Iceland, while the domestic premiere on the Norwegian pubcaster is set for March 15.
Oslo-based creative studio ANTI’s head of production Ingunn Rensel and head of development Emmeline Berglund are serving as producer and creator/co-writer respectively.
Joining them are helmers Sebastian Kåss (credited for ANTI’s earlier hit YA show “Heartbeat”) and Rikke Gregersen (“Ida Takes Charge”).
