Doctor Michael Mosley has revealed a cheap daily supplement that could ward off dementia in later life.Our body requires many different vitamins and minerals to keep it in tip-top shape, and keep it functioning properly throughout our lives.

Now, Michael Mosley has said a certain pill taken daily can actually reduce your risk of dementia.Speaking on his podcast, Just One Thing, the diet guru recommended the pill could also have other health benefits, as well as costing just three pence per day.In the new episode, Michael discussed the benefits of taking vitamin D each day, saying it can boost your immune system, as well as helping your brain to ward off depression and even dementia.He said: "I don’t usually recommend supplements, but I do make an exception for this one.
