DNC 2024 Night Two Ratings Increase From Night Before, Beats RNC By Nearly 50%

As the third night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention gets off to an exciting start, the ratings have come in for night two.

The second night of the DNC took place on Tuesday, August 20th, and the viewership and TV ratings have shown an improvement from the night before.

Among the speakers that night included former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, current Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and Senator Bernie Sanders. Keep reading to find out more… Night two drew in a total of 20.8 million viewers according to Nielsen’s live-plus-same-day figures, via The Wrap.

This is up 3.8% from the night before, and it’s also an increase of 40.4% compared to night two of the 2024 Republican National Convention on July 16th, which brought in 14.81 million viewers.
