Discovery WW II Doc ‘Apocalypse ’45’ Sets Museum Virtual Screenings

Discovery Channel is going back to World War II, this time with U.S. military museums. Discovery and Abramorama have expanded virtual theatrical screenings for their documentary Apocalypse ’45 to mark the 75th Anniversary of the end of World War II.

On Sept. 2, The National World War II Museum, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, the Pacific Historic Parks in Hawaii, The National Museum of the U.S.

Air Force and the Center for Contemporary Arts will each host virtual screening events. That follows Apocalypse ’45 ‘s virtual world premiere on Aug.
