For the latest Rochdale news sign up to the MyRochdale newsletter here The devastated family of a mum and grandmother with severe depression found dead after going missing has slammed Greater Manchester Police, as a coroner ruled that more could have been done in the search for her.
Zeyna Partington, 55, had suffered with severe depression and anxiety for several years before being reported missing on August 8, 2019.
Zeyna, from Chadderton in Oldham, was found dead two days later after taking large amounts of prescription medication. But the family says the mum, who was the ‘life and soul of the party’, might still be with them were it not for ‘catalogue of failings’ by Greater Manchester Police.
