Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Amanda Holden won't have to address her recent trip to Cornwall on her radio show this week. The Britain's Got Talent judge, 49, came under fire after a recent trip to Cornwall from her home in Surrey to visit her mother and step-father, despite lockdown restrictions.

Now, The Mirror can confirm that Amanda will not be hosting her Heart Breakfast radio show for the next week during February half-term as part of a planned break.

This means Amanda will not need to immediately address her recent trip to Cornwall which reportedly saw neighbours of her parents report her to the police for breaking lockdown restrictions by travelling 215 miles to visit them..
