Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

'Desperate' Harry could 'ditch £35m memoir to bag invite to King Charles' coronation’

Prince Harry may be be willing to “ditch his £35m memoir to bag an invite” to his father King Charles ’ coronation, claims one royal commentator, as she said the Prince was “desperate” to secure an invitation.

Charles is due to be formally crowned the King in a historic ceremony at Westminster Abbey on May 6th next year - the same day that Harry’s young son Archie is due to turn four.

Yet despite the scheduling clash, royal commentator Angela Levin has said the Duke of Sussex is “desperate” to attend, and may even be willing to scrap his tell-all memoir as a show of good faith.

Late last month it was reported that the explosive memoir had been delayed following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, with an additional chapter about the Queen specifically due to be added.
