Declan Rice has vowed to bring success back to Arsenal in a warning for Premier League rivals Manchester City. The midfielder's move to the Emirates was confirmed on Saturday, with the Gunners side paying up to £105million for their man.
Mikel Arteta's side have now spent around £200million already this summer, following earlier arrivals of Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber from Chelsea and Ajax respectively.
Such transfer business is a sign of intent that the North London club have no intention of looking back on last season as a flash in the pan, having topped the Premier League table for so long before eventually losing out to City.
Pep Guardiola's side did table a bid for Rice, but were unwilling to progress after learning they would need to pay more than £100million.
