Mikel Arteta outlines Arsenal mentality ahead of Premier League battle with Man City

Mikel Arteta has promised his side will learn from their losses in pre-season so they ensure they suffer it as rarely as possible next season.

Arsenal are gearing up to improve on their outing last season in which battled Manchester City for the title and were favourites to win the Premier League at one stage but eventually faded away.

To try and finish one better in 2024, the Gunners have spent big in the transfer window. They beat City in the race for Declan Rice but to a great cost as it took a £105million deal for West Ham to finally let their star player leave.

Kai Havertz was brought in from Chelsea while versatile defender Jurrien Timber was signed from Ajax. It appears to be a good summer of business for the Londoners but there have been mixed fortunes so far in pre-season.
