Manchester United need the summer and they need it quickly. With no trophies left to win the last couple of months of the season have the potential to play out like a dreary procession.
Qualifying for next season's Champions League is the only thing United have left to play for but even that is looking like a struggle.
Arsenal currently hold fourth spot, have a four-point lead on Ralf Rangnick's side and still have a game in hand. Tottenham have even overtaken United, who are now down to sixth, too, by a point after catching up on all their fixtures.
Considering the form all three sides are showing, each of the north London clubs look more likely to round out the top four.
