Manchester United are to face a 'big battle' for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to reports. The Serbian is thought to be heading for a new club away from Italy for the 2022-23 season and has been dubbed the 'natural heir' to Paul Pogba by La Repubblica.
Manchester Evening News understands that United are currently preparing for life without the Frenchman, whose contract expires at the end of the campaign.

This decision means that it's now reportedly a two-horse race between United and PSG to sign him. ALSO READ: David de Gea branded ‘best goalkeeper in the world’ by retiring Manchester United player Elsewhere, United have reportedly joined the race to sign winger Sergio Gomez.
