He said:"We were alerted at 12.57pm on Wednesday, 18 December to reports of a dwelling fire within a property on West Banks Terrace, Wick.“Operations Control immediately mobilised the two closest appliances and firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.“Sadly, one man was found to have passed away at the scene.
