The Beatles have joined up with Crocs to share two pairs of shoes inspired by the Yellow Submarine film.Details of the new collaboration were shared on Instagram today (January 29), showing that two new pairs of Crocs have been developed in celebration of the iconic 1968 film, as well as a variety of Beatles-inspired Jibbitz. The first takes on the design of the literal yellow submarine, with the main colour of the shoe taking on the same exterior design of the film’s namesake.

A four-headed periscope extends out over the top as a Jibbitz charm, while propellers are attached to the heel.Four windows are also included as buttons on the side, showing the iconic four members. “Yellow Submarine” is also written on the rivets in a more subtle design. The second design hones in on a more abstract approach and, instead of replicating the submarine itself, captures the psychedelic nature of the film.

A black sole is featured with grey outlines, while the top half is multi-coloured and sees some of the most iconic imagery from the movie.Jibbitz include all four members, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon and George Harrison, in animated form, as well as the Teacup Monster, Fish With Arms, Dreadful Flying Glove and the Yellow Submarine.A post shared by The Beatles (@beatlesstore)“Join iconic global footwear brand, Crocs, to celebrate the timeless magic of The Beatles with an exclusive collection of duo classic clogs inspired by the renowned Yellow Submarine film,” reads a press description.”For the love of shoes, style, and song, Crocs is giving music lovers and fans of the brands two unique styles showcasing a limited-edition groovy design and an elevated JibbitzTM charms pack made for self-expression.”Each pair of Crocs.
