Davina McCall has urged schools to teach young girls about symptoms of the perimenopause after she was diagnosed without having any knowledge about it.
The former Big Brother presenter, 53, is calling for teachers to educate school pupils about the condition, which she began to get symptoms for aged 44.
Davina says she was clueless as to why her body was "feeling different" as she didn't know anything about the symptoms, and vows to tackle future conversation about the diagnosis in a bid to bring awareness to the situation.
She insists "all women should know what it is" after suffering from it herself. Davina told OK! Magazine : "All women should know what it is. "I didn't know and I was 44 when I started getting symptoms.
