Selome Hailu “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman” has been renewed for a fifth season at Netflix, which will consist of two episodes in which the venerated late night host interviews Miley Cyrus and Charles Barkley. “They did shoot a pilot with another girl,” Cyrus says in the trailer, likely referring to “Hannah Montana,” the Disney Channel series that launched her career.

Since “Hannah Montana,” Cyrus has become best known for her music career, spanning eight studio albums such as “Bangerz” (2013) and “Plastic Hearts” (2020).
More recently, she released “Endless Summer Vacation” (2023), which featured the Grammy-winning single “Flowers” and featured on Beyoncé’s 2024 album “Cowboy Carter.” She also covered “Psycho Killer” on the 2024 album “Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense.” Barkley is one of the most famous basketball players of all time, having played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets throughout his 16 seasons in the NBA, and for the U.S.
