Danilo in emotional goodbye as Rangers £6m man serenaded by Feyenoord mates in final farewell

Danilo is one step closer to officially joining Rangers after making his farewell speech at Feyenoord. After a long process of talks an negotiations, the Light Blues are poised to capture the forward who netted 14 goals at the De Kuip club last term for a fee of around £5.2m which could rise with bonuses to around £6m.

He will soon jet into Scotland for a medical with personal terms set and he's now gone for one final Rotterdam farewell. According to 1908.NL, ' Danilo has said goodbye to his teammates at Feyenoord' and 'He will no longer train with the selection of the team from Rotterdam.' The striker has spent just a year at the club following his move from Ajax but has struck up strong bonds with his teammates, most notably Brazilian forward Igor Paixao who his close relationship with has been the subject of a documentary.

Danilo joins Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima and Cyriel Dessers in bolstering Beale's frontline. Their next pre-season test comes against Olympiacos on Wednesday night.
