Daniel Craig, 53, was a ladies man before he married wife Rachel Weisz - ironically mirroring that of his former alter-ego James Bond.

But what may stun readers is that the on-screen lothario also dated a Love Actually supervillain back in the day.Daniel has been linked to a number of equally glamorous high profile women during his time as a single man, and on that list is German actress Heike Makatsch. She starred as scheming office assistant Mia, as she attempted to tempt boss Harry, played by the late Alan Rickman, away from his loyal wife.Heike and Daniel were together for seven years before agreeing to split on good terms, after he revealed in a previous interview that his work could keep them apart for long periods."Film sets have caused a lot of break-ups; marriages go down the tubes," he said."It’s b****y lonely."A few years later, he rekindled his love with his former university pal Rachel, on the set of 2011 thriller Dream House.Despite their love for one anther, Rachel had always said she wasn't keen on the idea of marriage but the Bond actor changed her mind.Speaking to the The Standard in 2018, she admitted: "It was not an ambition of mine."It was the opposite."I couldn’t relate to romantic comedies, marriage seems to be the whole point of them."Then it just happened, happily, at a more mature moment."She beamed: "I wear my ring with pride.

I'm taken."The couple married in 2011, after dating for six months. They tied the knot at a very small wedding with just four guests, including their two children. In a more recent interview with The New Times, she gave a similarly gushing response when asked about her relationship with the actor."I love being Mrs Craig!" she exclaimed."I'm very happy being married.
