Dancing on Ice's Brendan Cole says Strictly Come Dancing 'pushed' competitive narrative

Dancing on Ice star Brendan Cole has shared his thoughts regarding his time on Strictly Come Dancing and said it became "tiring" with the narrative they pushed onto him.The professional dancer who was often known to be "fiercely competitive" throughout his time on the BBC show says he is glad that viewers were able to see him in a different light during his time on ITV'S Dancing on Ice.Speaking exclusively to Daily Star and other press, Brendan said he hopes viewers were able to see him for who he truly is.The star explained: "I came on this show hoping to show people that Strictly showed one side of me and they pushed that side."It was very much a narrative that showed over 15 series and it was tiring."As you can see I like having a bit of fun and I muck around a lot and that wasn't shown often but I think it's been shown here."Brendan also shared his appreciation towards ITV show producers for the way they portrayed himself and the other cast members on the programme.He added: "I am very pleased with the way it's been for all of us.
