Extreme weather can create both internal and external damage on homes, including increased mould and damp. Our colleague, Tiffany Lo, recently moved from a high-rise flat to a riverside home where condensation is a major concern.
Last winter she learnt that running the heaters in her home helps mitigate condensation, it's not a cost-effective solution.
To stop the windows from being constantly wet on the inside of her house, as well as stop the paint from peeling off the wall, Tiffany has invested in a Swan 20L Dehumidifier, which has been slashed from £249 to £90, from Amazon to help battle the damp.
