Daisy Lowe has opened up about a stint in rehab that she endured after suffering a secret breakdown following her star turn on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016.
The 31-year-old model took part in the 14th season of the hit BBC reality dance competition where she was partnered with dashing Slovenian professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec, 30.
And while the duo made it through eight weeks of the 13 week contest, Daisy struggled due to the death of her beloved grandfather, Eddie Davis, at the start of the contest.
Encouraged to dance on by her grandmother, who told Daisy her grandfather would want her to participate, Daisy championed on – but says she was “heartbroken” not to win the show in her grandfather’s memory.
