A cyclist is suffering serious injuries after a hit in run by two men on dirt bikes left him in hospital.One of the motorcyclists struck the 54-year-old victim causing him to fall from his bicycle.Emergency services rushed to the scene at the A725 from the Raith Interchange towards Blantyre and he was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Hairmyres for treatment.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

The dirt bike was florescent green and white.The second rider was driving a yellow and white dirt bike. He is described as white, in his early 20s, short blond spikey hair, slim build, clean shave and, also wearing colourful motocross clothing and spoke with a local accent.
