After his signing was confirmed, Ronaldo represented his nation against the Republic of Ireland and made history once again as he scored twice to break the all-time international scoring record and move on to 111 goals for Portugal.
After scoring the second goal, a 96th-minute winning header, Ronaldo removed his shirt in celebration and was booked by the referee.
