Craig Revel Horwood has sparked controversy for appearing in an advert for a bed company that broke strict BBC rules. The Strictly star was featured in an advertising campaign for Dreams which housed the catchphrase "fab-u-lous".
Craig has become the face of the company's range, appearing in dance poses on beds after signing a deal. The bed company teased the promotion with a blurred picture of Craig cradling a log with the caption: "Log's made a new fab-u-lous friend.
Can you guess who it is?" But BBC editorial guidelines clearly state that any promotional work undertaken by its stars should not "mimic or replicate their on-air roles" for the corporation.
