A Greater Manchester Police officer accused of misconduct in public office has now admitted her guilt, and is facing prison over ties to two criminals.PC Choni Kenny had denied three offences when she last appeared in court in June but yesterday (January 28) she was back in the dock facing a total of seven counts.
The 27-year-old, who was based in GMP's City of Manchester district, admitted five charges and is to be sentenced in April along with two men, Rahim Mottley and Josh Whelan.
Kenny, of Tennyson Road, Cheadle, Stockport, who has been suspended since her arrest, appeared in the dock at Liverpool Crown Court dressed all in black.
She pleaded guilty to four offences of misconduct in public office and one of conspiracy to commit misconduct with Mottley. They all took place between April 1, 2021 and June 22, 2023.
