The 23-year-old Sheffield United defender, who shares eight-month-old son Mexx with the Corrie actress, shared the news on Instagram alongside a precious photograph of his late mother.
Alongside the heartbreaking snap, the footballer explained he is thankful to his mum for shaping him as a person. The shattered star wrote: “Yesterday we said our goodbyes to my beautiful Mum." Kean continued by paying tribute to the wonderful woman who brought him into the world and taught him how to love.
