manchestereveningnews.co.ukCoronation Street star Brooke Vincent looks a far cry from the cosy cobbles as she takes on a bruised and battered appearance in a sci-fi thriller.
Brooke, who has played Sophie Webster in Corrie since 2004, plays Olivia in the short film Chapter 2: Zach, the second chapter in the story of a character called Zach who faces captivity and torture from a twisted stranger.
The first film, Chapter 1: Liv, followed the story of Brooke’s character who woke up after a car crash to find her mother, played by her Corrie co-star Sally Ann Matthews, at her side.
As she regained her memory Olivia started to see inconsistencies in her mum's story and discovered she was actually in a simulation designed to interrogate her.
