Prince Charles has been seen for the first time since testing positive for coronavirus. The Prince of Wales appeared on an Instagram story video posted by Clarence House, where he was seen joining in with a round of applause for the NHS from Birkhall.

He clapped along indoors, dressed in an open necked shirt and jacket with a handkerchief in his pocket. The Instagram account also posted a video of Camilla, who is currently separately isolating from Charles because she does not have the COVID-19 illness, clapping as she looked out of an open window.

Since testing positive for the potentially deadly bug, Charles has been conducting meetings by phone as he recovers from the virus.
