Coronavirus could lead lift on 3pm broadcast ban with SPFL and SFA in talks over streaming

The SPFL and SFA are holding talks to allow Saturday 3pm games to be shown live despite the UK wide broadcast ban. If the coronavirus outbreak results in supporters being banned from attending games for the rest of the season, then officials are already in talks to find ways for fans to still be able to watch games.

Talks have taken place with Sky and BT Sport already, according to STV.If they can't show it on TV, they will look to stream games for supporters around the country.A ban has been in place in the UK stopping 3pm games on a Saturday from being shown on TV since the 1960s although there are regularly calls for it to be lifted.No games within the UK have been placed behind closed doors yet as fears over the outbreak continues to
