Coronation Street stars 'take aim' at Emmerdale and say 'we're coming for you' in exciting move

A number of Coronation Street stars have cheekily taken aim at some of the cast of Emmerdale as they prepare to face-off away from their respective soaps.

A number of women from both ITV shows, both in front of the camera and behind it, have teamed up to create their own netball teams and with the help of the Manchester Thunder netball team will be going head-to-head on the netball court.

The last battle took place 10 years ago after a number of years of the two soaps coming together to raise money for Text Santa, an ITV campaign which supported six charities - Teenage Cancer Trust, Guide Dogs, WellChild, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Alzheimer’s Society and Together for Short Lives.

Taking to Instagram, Channique Sterling-Brown, who plays Corrie's Dee-Dee Bailey, took to Instagram with a snap of the Corrie team preparing for the match.
