Coronation Street star Sydney Martin has declared her love for her co-star after enjoying a 'princess' moment at a recent awards bash.

The actress was among the cast who respresented the ITV soap at the TV Choice Awards 2025. After less than a year in the role of Betsy Swain, Sydney found herself nominated for 'Best Soap Newcomer' at the star-studded bash alongside co-star Jack Carroll, who plays Corrie's Bobby Crawford.

Also making up the category was real-life best friend Isabelle Smith, who plays Frankie Osborne in Hollyoaks and Beth Cordingly, who was eventually named winner of the gong for her role as Ruby Fox-Milligan in Emmerdale.

But Sydney still got to enjoy the ceremony alongside a number of her fellow Weatherfield favourites, on-screen mum Vicky Myers (DS Lisa Swain, Colson Smith (PC Craig Tinker), Jacob Roberts (DC Kit Green), Daniel Brocklebank (Billy Mayhew), Sair Kahn (Alya Nazir), Julia Goulding (Shona Platt), Jodie Prenger (Glenda Shuttleworth) and former co-star Peter Ash (Paul Foreman).
