Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney enjoyed a pre-Valentine's date with a friend after impressing with an update which left some of her followers saying 'unbelievable'.

The actress, who fans know for currently playing Cassie Plummer in the ITV soap, was seen enjoying a night out in Manchester on Thursday night (February 13) alongside her pal, DJ Tony Marnach, aka Fat Tony, as they headed to Sexy Fish in the city.

Taking to Instagram, Claire shared a number of selfies of the pair, in which they could be seen smiling for the camera and puckering up for a friendly peck.

Captioning the images, in which former Brookside star could be seen looking glam in a plunging black outfit with a silver sparkling neckline, Claire wrote: "Came to @sexyfish_manchester to see @dj_fattony_ doing his brilliant set love you my friend."
