Coronation Street favourite Samia Longchambon has opened up about her heartbreaking miscarriage for the first time. The actress, who plays Maria Connor in the ITV soap, explained in a new interview with Fabulous magazine that she miscarried five-and-a-half years ago before she had her son, Yves.
The soap star, from Eccles, told no one at work and went back on the Corrie set straight afterwards. It was only when she was presented with Maria's storyline last year that she confided in her bosses.
