Coronation Street legend Angela Griffin has shared a surprising fact about her career. Angela, 47, landed the role of hairdresser Fiona Middleton on the hit ITV soap over 30 years ago and went on to star in the likes of Holby City, Cutting It, Down to Earth and Harlots.
Recently she returned to BBC's Waterloo Road as headteacher Kim Campbell. But despite her success, Angela revealed that she juggled her role on Corrie with shifts at the fast food joint, reports Mirror Online.
She told The Big Issue she would “do Corrie and four shifts at Burger King, while at college and also seeing this boy”. In addition to returning to Waterloo Road, Angela is also studying for an Open University degree in psychology.
She's married to actor Jason Milligan, and they have two teenage daughters, Tallulah and Melissa. Speaking about her mum Sheila being her biggest cheerleader, she shared: "My brain needs four things going on at once.That's why directing Waterloo Road is so satisfying you have to be thinking about so many things at once...
