As viewers of the ITV soap know, Mason has been behind the cruel taunting and abuse of Liam Connor - with his gang of mates including Dylan Wilson - which has recently led to him contemplating taking his own life.
Liam is now preparing for professional help, and it appeared Dylan was willing to confess to headteacher Mrs Crawshaw about what had happened after a heart-to-heart with his dad, Sean Tully.
But Mason has since got to him first and in upcoming scenes, the bully will threaten Dylan into keeping quiet.
