It all started on Christmas Day with Tommy's brief meeting with Tracy as he sought a last-minute gift for his mum and ended up at her flower show, Preston's Petals, because she'd gone over for a break amid the Barlow family festivities.
He ended up giving the florist his card which revealed he's now a painter and decorator. Then as the new year got underway, husband Steve McDonald not doing much work at the house and Tracy decided to call in Tommy for some redecorating and it wasn't long before sparks flew between the pair after she encouraged Tommy superfan Steve to go to France to visit his daughter, Emma.
