Coronation Street star Colson Smith has admitted to being left 'disheartened' after he was told he has a skin condition that should, hopefully, only be temporary.
The actor, who plays Craig Tinkle in the ITV soap, opened up about his health on the Sofa Cinema Club podcast he hosts with his co-stars.
He shared, alongside Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price, who are famed for playing David Platt and Nick Tilsley on the cobbles, spoke about how he has been suffering from Chronic idiopathic urticaria, which sees red, itchy skin welts appear on the body and last more than six weeks, since the beginning of the year.
Colson said he gets rashes all over his body in different places, without knowing what caused them or why and shared how he had an outbreak on Tuesday, just hours before appearing on the This Morning sofa alongside Jack. "I went, ‘Why has it got the middle word?’ She [the GP] said it has no pattern, it happens for no reason.
