Coronation Street spoilers as Carla's attacked after Lisa setback and a family rocked by death news

There's more drama to come as well as heartbreaking news in next week's Coronation Street. Starting with Carla Connor, she suffers a setback when DS Lisa Swain spells out to her that she’s not ready for a relationship.

Returning to the Underworld factory Carla's horrified to discover the place ransacked. As she pulls out her phone to call the police someone strikes her over the head and she falls to the ground with no one to help her.

Later, Lisa sits at Carla’s bedside, willing her to pull through. Meanwhile, Matty Radcliffe is hauled in for questioning but Alya Nazir provides a statement corroborating his alibi.

When a smug Matty makes a dig about Becky’s death, Lisa’s furious, convinced he must have had something to do with it.
