The devastating storyline will centre around Toyah Battersby (played by Georgia Taylor) whoe buried her stillborn baby in a park after being raped 23 years ago.
Her secret will be revealed when she learns the park is due to be dug up. Back in 2001, Toyah went out with Sam Kingston (Scott Wright) and ended up walking home alone.
She was then attacked and raped by an unknown person before Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) found her and helped her get home. Toyah later spoke to the police and was checked at the hospital, with several men in the area becoming suspects - including Peter Barlow, who was cleared by a DNA test.
