Coronation Street's Simon Barlow almost killed by drug gang after nasty trap

Simon Barlow is almost snared by Harvey's drugs gang after breaking cover to see dad Peter in hospital on Coronation Street next week.

Peter, played by Chris Gascoyne, gears up to have his transplant at the hospital - but has no idea at the beginning of the week that he has been talking to a woman who is trying to capture his son.

Sharon has been trying to track down Leanne and Simon in a bid for revenge after they snitched on the gang to the police. After asking round in Weatherfield, she latches onto Peter and asks to go for a coffee, but he fobs her off by telling her that he's too tired.

She then goes on to steal Gail's laptop, sparking suspicion from Shona when she returns it claiming that she picked it up by accident.
