Coronation Street fans think that have a theory that proves who DS Lisa Swain's late partner, Becky, really was after the detective was confronted by troublesome Matty Radcliffe.

It was earlier in 2024 that viewers discovered that Lisa's late partner was killed in the line of duty. The pair share a daughter, Betsy, and it's been clear in recent months that Lisa and the teen's relationship hasn't been perfect since Becky's death.

But fans of the ITV soap are now seeing Lisa tentitively embark on a new romance with Carla Connor, which at first caught Betsy off-guard, but they have since seen the trio warming to the idea of being a solid family.

However, amidst the family changes, Lisa is still stuck in the past. The year ended when a stressed-out Lisa revealed that they had a burst pipe and the flat is flooded before Carla invited her and Betsy to stay for new year.
