Coronation Street fans think Les Battersby may have been killed and that his murderer has already been on the cobbles. As fans of the ITV soap recently saw, Les' daughter Leanne Battersby was informed of her father's death.

Leanne was left stunned by the unexpected news when a police officer arrived at her flat and told her: "Leanne Battersby, there’s no easy way to say this - your dad was involved in an accident at work last night,” the policewoman told her.

Les' step-daughter Toyah Habeeb was given the news by complicated lover Nick Tilsley before Leanne broke the news to Chesney Brown, leaving them all in understandable shock. The moment left Leanne in tears but they were all quickly left shocked to learn of an offer of £50,000 by the abattoir where Les died.
